Voting is over?!? Why?

Why is it voting is over? According to 2959, voting is over july 10 - august 09 only.
FYI, today is only July 22.. How come is it over?

Hi Maui,

Voting is only over for wildcard, you can now vote for the songwriters and that will close next week and then you can vote for overall winner.
We needed to close the wildcard voting to be able to count the votes and have the winners in the regional final show which airs after next weekend.

Next season we will try and find away around this so that we can keep voting open longer.

i think the number of population should be consider as well as the exposure of every each of the country and so on..in rgeards with the wildcard voting ..just my opinion grin
