Sutasi

Since the launch of Sutasi in 2007 we have auditioned thousands of acts in dozens of countries, and have come across some of the most exciting music we’ve heard in years.  On top of this, we’ve discovered that these amazingly diverse musicians all have their own fascinating stories to tell… which brings together the true concept of SUTASI… a showcase of music and culture from within Asia.

Along the way we will decide who gets to travel to LA for the Grand Final and who eventually gets to experience the opportunity of a lifetime to work with an elite team of music professionals in New York and or Los Angeles. Our judges will be giving us their vote however we are also asking YOU to pick your favorite and make them the WildCard.

So who is your favorite? Who do you want to see on top of the Empire State Building? Who do you want to get a record produced so rockin’ it will knock the rest of the world off their feet?! Become a member to vote and help secure a place in the final for your favourite finalist.

So how does the voting happen?
1. SUTASI focuses on selecting a number of finalists (solo artists, songwriter and bands) from three Asian regions: North East Asia, South East Asia and South Asia.

2. Our coaches select who they think is the best talent within each region, resulting in one regional finalist from each category advancing to the Grand Finale. (You can check out the actual voting system in the competition section)  YOUR VOTE however will count toward the “wildcard” which gives you the chance to put your favorite back in the mix!!!

3. The Grand Finale will be held in 2009 in the US and here the winner of the Grand Prize will be determined again by select voting.
