SUTASI MAKES DREAMS COME TRUE IN ASIA!
Singapore – Monday 29th September 2008
Following a widespread search throughout Asia for the hottest, up and coming music and artists, SUTASI today announced that 99 Finalists from 13 countries across Asia will be converging on Singapore this week for the exclusive filming of the broadcast shows, for their chance to gain a place in the Grand Final.
The 99 regional finalists are travelling from:
South East Asia - Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, Vietnam and Singapore.
North East Asia - China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
South Asia - India and Nepal.
They will battle it out in Singapore over the next two weeks for a place in the Grand Final. SUTASI the TV Show will be broadcast across Asia as well as internationally following the Grand Final to be held in the US in early 2009.
Launched late last year in Bangkok, SUTASI (an Australian owned production) provides the opportunity for talented Asian artists and their music to become internationally recognised and find their place in the international arena by launching them on a worldwide stage.
SUTASI has been developed by Asia Sounds Pty. Ltd., (an Australian company), which is a global recording, music publishing, talent management, television production and event broadcasting company.
President of Asia Sounds, Colleen Zulian, is convinced that the world is ready to embrace Asian music. “SUTASI is a series of broadcast events designed to discover, nurture and promote the best unsigned talent and songs within Asia to local and global markets,” she said.
The company believes it will be able to strike a balance by retaining the regional sounds and presenting them in a contemporary manner so that the winner is positioned to achieve worldwide exposure.
Regional Finals will be filmed in Singapore on 3rd 5th & 7th October 2008
