THE 5TH ANNUAL SONGWRITER’S BEAT FESTIVAL
(New York, NY) The Songwriter’s Beat presents the 5th Annual Songwriter’s Beat Festival at the Cornelia Street Café, July 20-25, 2009.
This July, the Songwriter’s Beat Festival - New York City’s only festival celebrating performing songwriters - returns for six nights and features 24 top performing songwriters including Elisabeth Withers, Dean Bowman, Deni Bonet, Peter Calo, Joe Cerisano, Valerie Ghent - all original songwriters from a wide variety of musical styles including Soul, Pop, Folk, Jazz, R+B, Rock, Cuban, Gospel, Latin and Classical.
Proceeds from the festival benefit the nonprofit Feel the Music!, which brings music and the arts to children, teens and families impacted by trauma.
